Cutest ever
I've been on a boot-buying spree. Thanks you BootJunky for the discount and more importantly for the pay over time option because I wouldn't have been able to get these otherwise. I ordered a 6.5. My normal tennis shoe is a 7. I usually get 6.5 in Old Gringo, but I have to wear them around the house to get them comfortable before I wear them out, and often I need plastic bag (trick) at first. Not with these. I put them on, no socks, and they fit better than anything I've ever had on my feet, including my (long-ago) custom figure skates that were made to the form of my foot. They are so comfy! The shape is very flattering. They seem different than the photo on me, probably the size is different on the model. At first, from the photo, I thought they looked a bit long, perhaps from the pointed toe (not snip toe), and I thought the heel might be high. I thought they might not look as modern as some other models, but I wanted navy boots, really, really wanted navy boots. I was really happy when I saw them, and even happier when I put them on. They are very cute on. I like the place where the top curves into the top of the boot. It looks flat on the model, but my boots seem wider there. and must more curved onto the top of my foot. The toe area is bigger than all pointed boots, even more so than my snip toe Old Gringos. Honestly I had second thoughts about the toe (not being a snip) thinking the boots would look long, but they look really cute, not long at all. The color is really dark, almost black; I would call it a soft black/blue. I might have wanted a more blue color because my goal was to wear them with dark blue demin/jeans, but I do think the blue will show more with that. I hope these descriptions help. I highly recommend. I can't wait to wear them out and about and see if they get compliments. I think they will. They are super flattering.
